PRITHIVI NARAYAN MULTIPLE CAMPUS
Prithivi Narayan Multiple Campus (PNC) (पृथ्वीनारायण बहुमुखी क्याम्पस) is a public educational institution located in the northern part of the Pokhara city and is one of the largest campuses affiliated to the Tribhuvan University. The institution runs undergraduate (bachelors degree) and graduate (masters & doctorate) programs in a variety of fields. It is named after the king Prithivi Narayan Shah credited for the unification of Nepal in its modern form.
WESTERN REGIONAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE ( WRC )
Western Regional Engineering College is a government engineering college . The Western Region Campus is located in the northern part of Mega-scenic Pokhara. WRC became operational from 1987 with assistance from the World Bank and UNDP/ILO.
At present, it is offering diploma courses in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile and Mechanical Engineering. From the academic year1999/2000 Bachelor’s Degree program in Civil Engineering has been started. All are affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU) . It is a Constitutient Campus of Tribhuvan University
POKHARA UNIVESITY
Pokhara University (PU) was established in 1996 as Nepal’s fifth University. The central office of the university is located in Pokhara, Kaski district, Western Development Region. Along with Purbanchal University, PU was formed as part of the government’s policy to pursue a multi-university system for improved access to higher education. The Prime Minister is the Chancellor of the University and the Minister for Education is the Pro-Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor is the principal administrator of the university.
MANIPAL MEDICAL SCIENCE COLLEGE
Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS) is the first private medical school in Nepal. Established in 1994 and located in Pokhara, the school is affiliated with Kathmandu University. The school is the result of a collaboration between the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG)and the Government of Nepal.
JANAPRIYA MULTIPLE CAMPUS
Janapriya Multiple Campus was established in public participation in 1991(2048B.S.). The campus is affiliated to Tribhuvan University and Higher Secondary Education Board. Janapriya is an institution with a proud heritage, excellent programs and well experienced faculty members. The campus is non-profit organization with board objectives of supporting the development of skilled and dynamic human resources to meet the challenges of education in the 21stcentury in various sectors. The campus is offering Intermediate , Bachelor and Master’s in different faculties.
LA GRANDEE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE
Created in 2000 with a sublime goal to produce skilled and efficient human resources for Computer and Information Technology Industry, La Grandee International College(LGIC) has established itself as a modern and dynamic educational institution. It started with two academic programs–Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and PostGraduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA)–and expanded its goal in 2005 by adding a third program–Bachelor of Business Administration. GANDAKI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE
The Gandaki College of Engineering and Science (GCES) formerly known as Gandaki College of Sciences (GCS) was established in 1998 as an extension of the Gandaki Boarding School. It is an established tertiary education facility, located in the Gandaki Boarding School (GBS) campus in Lamachaur, on the outskirts of Pokhara city. Along with GBS, GCES is run by the GBS GCES Public Education Trust. It is affiliated to the Pokhara University (PU) and follows the university’s semester system and examination procedures. GCES got permanent membership of Nepal Engineering Council in 2003.
GCES is open to all students, regardless of position or background. To facilitate those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds, a number of scholarships and awards are offered to academically gifted students.
POKHARA ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Mount Annapurna Higher Secondary School (MAHSS), a sister concern of Cosmos International College, is the premier institution to provide education in English Medium with private venture for the first time in western development region of Nepal.
